With the opening of the new lounge at Trieste cruise terminal looming, Bogdan, an unaccompanied teenage refugee from the former Yugoslavia, is at risk of losing his job when his boss is forced to close the business.

But although his future in Italy is at stake, all he can think about is the mysterious customer who frequents his bar every mid morning.

Until one evening, he decides to venture into the unknown with the excuse of returning a lost jacket.
